Power2 is a leading youth development charity that supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to improve poor wellbeing and reach their full potential. The William Wates Memorial Trust is supporting the charity’s unique Teens and Toddlers programme, which sees young people become a mentor to a child in a local nursery and is designed to help the mentor to succeed at school. Through becoming a role model to their toddler and supporting them with learning and play activities, teens gain crucial life skills, improve their confidence and self-esteem, and re-engage in education.
