Ocean Youth Connexions, based in Lambeth, provide opportunities for young people aged 11-19 (up to 25 with Special Educational Needs), through specially designed programmes and preventative schemes aimed at personal development and moving young people forward as responsible young adults and good citizens.

The programmes include social education, training programmes and workshops, organising labour industry qualifications, providing support to enter the labour market, sporting programmes and indoor recreational and social activities.

They run half term activities for young people in the borough that are Not in Education Training or Employment (NEET) and with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through the referral system. They also run a cycle proficiency training programme in partnership with the local borough.

WWMT is supporting a project which employs 2 part time football coaches to run, manage and deliver football sessions for local young people during the weekend. This keeps young people engaged and participating in positive activities which steer them away from being part of a negative peer group and being a nuisance to residents.
